WEEK 5 Game Scene Final Project Post

For our project the scene we were doing is Kakiriko village from breath of the wild. My task was to construct Impa’s house as well as two props which were the fence and the poles with string wire. Due to the limitations I have with substance painter I had to make Impa’s house a bit more realistic. What we were trying to do for our scene was create like a little community area where you have the head of the village as the big house then having the two other commercial buildings which were the inn and the weapon shop. The mood is supposed to be like a calm state where is the bed comfortable with everyone around by showing that there is an order to the place.
Problems that I have encountered during this project was certain personal issues that happened around my work area making the environment a bit too uncomfortable, the other problem is time management which I had to balance this project with 180, and the last problem was me not saving for one time which pushed me back a lot. Solutions that I could have put to these problems are only two because the personal issues one I can’t really solve. One save constantly like it is a daily tasks to do. Finally try balancing all project base classes together more or try to. Mostly what I will do in the future is create set appointment and dedicate a day to a certain project however if it’s an assignment that’s due the next class day then I’ll have to put that in a more priority state.
As for my time management the amount of hours that I work on this is probably over 25 hours due to the fact that I did not really keep track of how much I did so I’m just gonna go above 25. The part that was the most difficult was the modeling the part that took more time was the modeling and the UV is texturing wasn’t a problem however there are limitations to texturing for me. When it came to unity we all agreed on a date to meet Anne on a day we can set up everything in unity and post it to blackboard. However for this it was kind of the last day we could meet so I had to accept that day. Most of the unity finishes were finished that day, but the trees we could not figure out the textures.
